All participants can start the walk if they equipped with mandatory and recommended things as follow :

Mandatory:

  • Raincoat
  • Reusable Water Bottle
  • Bib Number

Recommended:

  • Trekking or sports shoes / sandals
  • Long pants and long sleeves
  • Hats
  • Sunglasses
  • Trekking Poles

All walkers can collect their event pack during dedicated time as follow :

20–21 June 2025 at 08.00 – 20.00 WIB in Kagé Sumbar, Koto Gadang

We provide free baggage service in the venue for participants on event day. Be informed that we only receive 1 bag per participants.

Mineral water, assorted fruits and local snacks are available in start/finish venue and all checkpoints. However you can still buy some other snacks and drinks in local stores along the course.

Toilets are available in start/finish venue and all checkpoints. However you might be able to use toilets in several public facilities along the course.

Walkers participate to this event entirely at their own risk. No responsibility can be accepted by the organisers for any loss, damage or injury sustained before, during and after the walk. Particularly complaints and accidents, disregard of road rules, moving up from the starting point, detours from itineraries lined up by the organisers, as well as arrivals after the closing of the event, will not be taken in account.

Let’s keep our environment clean. Help us by doing these following things :

  • Our sustainable event pack consists of t-shirt and tote bag that can be helpful for reducing plastic bag during and after the walk.
  • Throw your trash to our dedicated waste containers that available in every check points or public trash bins along the course. Please keep your trash with you if you can’t find any trash bin yet.
  • Avoid using disposable packaging as much as possible.

Trigger to Cancel event

0–24 hours prior to start time: Mount Marapi or nearby volcano eruption, landslides in Ngarai Sianok or nearby canyon edge, floods in Sianok river or nearby river.

During event: Continuous heavy rains for more than 90 minutes.

Trigger to Temporarily Postpone Event or Reroute

During event: Continuous heavy rains for more than 30 minutes.
